Never Again

This past weekend I went to Milwaukee to visit my sister and go to my cousin's birthday party in Racine. My sister's friend had ticket to the Bucks game so we decided to go. While we are the only ones sitting in our row, this women comes up to my sister and I and asks if either of us has scene Housewives of Atlanta ( its this stupid reality show about rich women who live in Atlanta). One of the women on the show was in a singing group in the 90's and helped wrote the song "Creep" for TLC. This woman helped one of the other woman turn a country song into a pop song. Anyway, my sister told the woman at the game that she does in fact watch that crazy show and I told her yes as well but only cuz my dumb sister made me watch it. So the woman asked us to stand up and sing the country turned pop song in front of the entire stadium. I agreed to only if my sis would. Also, we were in Milwaukee and I doubted I knew anyone. About two minutes after I sang and danced with that woman and my sis my friend calls me laughing. He was sitting to my left and unfortunately saw the entire thing =(

Where The Wild Things Are

I couldnt be more excited to see this film! I read the book and saw the animated version as a child which makes me love it even more. The fact that Spike Jones directed it and the movie is shot in real time NOT animation is a plus as well=)

Today

I was listening to one of the many great songs by John Legend called, "Show Me". The overall melody of the song is uplifting in a way but the lyrics are kinda sad. I looked the vid up on youtube and saw at the end, that it was dedicated to two guys, Yaguine Koita and Foda Tounkara. In the music video Legend follows this kid around and at the end the kid sneaks into the grounds at an airport and boards a plane by climbing one of the wheels. I thought it was a bit strange till I google the two guys names.

In 1999, the bodies of these two men were found in the right hand wheel bay of a plane that had traveled from Conakry, Guinea to Brussels, Belgium. They carried a letter that was addressed to officials of Europe. You should read it!! Here's a link to an english translation of the letter

I am not and will never be a fan of Miley Cryrus or any or those other Disney kid rockers. This night when I was out my friends we went to this girls house and she played this song about 5 times... no joke!! Every time she did my friends and I could not stop laughing cuz her and her friends had to dance. Anyway my sister showed me this music video that these dudes made for the song. Its soo wrong but hilarious=) Hope you like

To Hanna and Jenny

So last night was the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy!! I must say I as pretty excited even though I new most of what was going to happen. One scene I couldnt believe was the scene at the funeral when Izzie left and the rest of the clan followed. I remembered that she has inappropriate reactions to death but I did not see mer christina and karev laughing as well!?! Thats was kinda weird. I thought for sure someone was gonna hear or see them laughing! The best part, I must say, was the ending... Classic Derek and Bailey in the elevator, Mer Finally crying, Christina and Owen... hahah - I love how she said "you can sleep in the tub", and Karev letting Izzie in (I guess) I suppose it had to end with a song that they already played in a previous season; to add familiarity!

Everybody listen up!

THE BLUEPRINT 3 - Great album that Jay Z just came out with. Been listening to it a lot lately. Mainly cuz his beats are unique and the fact that he's using real musicians to do his beats. Jay Z is timeless!

If anyone saw his performance with Alicia Keys you may have noticed lil mama get up on stage at the end and strike the pose with them..... hahaha WTF, so random. Anyway, this is the best album i've heard in a while so listen up!

Just signed up for twitter. It's weird... I used to go on randomly but now that I have an account I cant stop following new people and checking what everyone in the world is up to!

New Age

Family Time

I took this picture at the beach in Racine. This was a couple hours before the fireworks for the 4th of July went off. Every year after the parade my cousins and I go the  beach and and play in and by the water. This year it was to cold to go into the water so my cousins chose to sink instead=)

Another Day

This past week has been real crazy!! I spent most of it in Milwaukee and Racine and went to summerfest twice!! The Roots were by far the best live concert I have ever seen!!!! Crazy good!!! Its finally back to being warm in Madison but I cant go anywhere cuz my dad took the car for the week... stuck at home I guess. Anyway, Im loving the warm weather but every time I see a snowboard video it makes me wanna go boarding SOOOO BAD!

Going to California

Yesterday I decided to go the Academy of Art University in San Francisco California starting in January!! It was either this school or Augsburg College in Minnesota. I chose the school in the warmer climate of course! No... im really looking forward to starting school and studying film and what not!!!!!!!!! YAY!

Recover

I love waking up in the morning feeling like crap! We had the craziest storm last night which made it impossible for me to bike home. Instead I just crashed at a friends house and biked home in the morning. No biggy. Its funny biking through town in the morning watching everyone starting their day while im trying to get home to sleep=) Wish it wasnt so humid... my hair is getting crazier by the minute.
Just gonna chill the rest of the day, play some soft ball and roll to a party with my brother! Jajamensan

Umm...

Today is the first day I havent hung out with any of my friends... weird. Although the weather is almost perfect I havent really been outside except to take my dog out. For some reason it feels like a sunday. Nice and quiet morning, some Scrubs on television and all you want to do is just lie around and chill. Too bad my parents are ridiculous and would never let me just sit around on any day=( We'll better get my work done if I'm gonna be able to hang out tomorrow. I wish I had some pictures to post but instead ill post a song thats been stuck in my head today and sort of goes with my mood today!=) couldnt find a better vid, so just pay attention to the song!

Madison

I'm finally back in the US. I forgot how humid it is in Madison, but I like how its been really warm. Just been chilling with my friends and trying to get some college stuff done. The weird thing about seeing everyone is that its been so long but once we start hanging out it feels like no time has past since we last saw each other.

Nice day today, thinking about taking my dog to the park!

Rainy day

It rained almost the entire day today. My dad and I tried to walk downtown regardless of the weather which was a bad idea! Didnt get much shopping done but we ate at a really good restaurant and mostly chilled in the main boat for the rest of the evening=) All in all, not a bad day! Couldnt get this one song out of my head....?

Sealife

My dad and I are staying on a boat in Stockholm! I love waking up and being able to see Gamla stan across the water. The weather has been really nice these past couple of days but I miss the constant sunlight like in the north. Swedish people in the south are definitely different than people in the north. Still friendly but a little less laid back.
We walked almost all day past Gamla stan to all the shopping centers then finally came back to the boat cuz my feet felt like they were going to fall off. I've never crashed so hard in my life... except for when I slept for 24 hours straight! haha! Just sitting upstairs on the main boat and listing to Bon Iver (he's from Wisconsin!) I discovered him from House m.d. Good music on that show!
In a couple days i'll leave nice calm Sweden and return to LOUD America=)

Vi Ses Snart

Left Umeå, friends and family this past friday=( I had a chance to see the Brenboll tournament before I left which was crazy! There were a lot of ridiculous outfits but I think the most ridiculous was this boy in my sister Emma´s class who was wearing a Borat swimsuit... not a pretty sight!
Im in Stockholm for the week with my dad and sister. Then its off to the states on thursday
